A little project for the DA periodic table project being run by :icongordorca: here: [link]
Had to give this a go seeing as I'm doing Chemistry at A-level =D.
So this here is Cu- Copper.
This was my first try at proper metallic thread and my goodness they are a nuisance to work with!

Im hoping he goes to University in the UK once he gets a couple years here- (he will have duel citizenship- his father is from Bristol)
But I dont have to worry about that for many years!! :P

=D I didn't mean to imply anything lol. Wow, big plans already! I've heard dual nationality can be a really big advantage on you passport so that should be good. Sounds like a lucky lad!

Hmm, I will certainly try to avoid it in the future. Expensive and you end up throwing half of it away because it frays too much...

Exactly. I don't even think I still have the one piece I used it with. I think I tossed it because I hated the end result. You can get just as good of a look without the metallic thread. Straight DMC floss all the way.

Well It will be really good for him. He wants to be a civil engineer -- since he was little!! He was contantly building and drawing these machines things!! He explained them in full detail!! He can speak French and he is taking German next year so he will have languages too!!
